Especially in the disciplines of information and communication technologies, digital literacy, it is necessary to constantly update and update the content of training with up-to-date new information. In the world educational practice, elective courses at the upper stage of secondary school are widely considered in order to provide students with individual educational programs that allow them to reveal their inclinations and abilities, satisfy their professional interests and needs.

In the course of the study, the analysis of available educational materials on the topic “fundamentals of artificial intelligence” proved that they are not enough and in demand in the Kazakh language. A structural model of the educational content for in-depth study of the topic "artificial intelligence" in profile classes has been developed, a plan and content of an elective course based on 28 hours have been developed.

To form the structural content of the elective course, the opinions of experienced teachers teaching in specialized classes were taken into account. Tasks and feedback have been developed aimed at forming students' motivation for classes and interest in completing tasks.
