Currently, especially with Covid-19, it has become a necessity for teachers to switch to the distance education system. The article shows the development of the DigCompEdu platform to improve the digital competence of teachers. As a result of the research, it was found that the success of achieving the planned educational results in most cases depends on the level of preparation for distance professional development of the teacher.
