Formation of urban agglomerations is related to formation of logistics infrastructure, inefficiency of which leads to emergence of a number of social and economic problems. The search of a solution of these problems is complicated by lack of high quality theoretical and methodological instruments of logistics infrastructure management. According to the research materials and fundamental scientific papers on logistics and supply chain management along with the theory and methodology of logistics infrastructure development, the author considers theoretical and methodological foundations of management of urban agglomeration logistics infrastructure. The article also contains theoretical oundations of urban agglomeration logistics infrastructure management, offers the author’s definition of the term «integrated logistics infrastructure» and contains a hierarchical concept of urban agglomeration logistics infrastructure management that is a prerequisite to devising of a corresponding organizational and functional model.
