This article discusses the prerequisites for the need for an adaptive learning platform based on artificial intelligence. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need to develop an adaptive learning platform based on AI for comprehensive schools by analyzing existing educational platforms. The study used observation, interviewing and document analysis methods. The results of the study showed that the process of improving the platform requires close interaction between experts in the field of technology, education and user experience design. Users - teachers and students - noted the overall positive effect of using existing platforms. The study also found that adaptive platforms contribute to increased motivation, activity and learning outcomes of students, which indicates the need for their further improvement. However, to improve adaptive learning platforms, it is necessary to create a database, develop AI algorithms, and ensure data security. More research and applications are also needed to support learner development.
