The purpose of this article is a scientific analysis of distance learning technologies in teaching students in accordance with high standards in order to help them become qualified, competitive specialists capable of fulfilling their role in the state at a high level. The article highlights issues related to the implementation of DET in higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan: the state policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of digitalization of education; the essence and basic principles of the application of DOT in universities; modern platforms for creating courses and applying DOT; applications and programs for organizing the interaction of participants in the educational process, etc.Distance learning technologies are recognized throughout the world as one of the most effective ways to achieve the goal set by UNESCO for sustainable development - quality education for all throughout life. In our country, the problems of the development of DOT have become particularly relevant in connection with the suspension of distance learning.
