Abstract

In this article, the motivational factors of the participants of non-formal education programs in the field of information and communication technologies are presented. The main tasks include identifying the features of motivation in non-formal education, especially in the field of information and communication technologies, classification of motivational internal and external factors, analysis of the influence of personal qualities on the choice of non-formal education in the field and development of recommendations for educational organizations to increase student motivation. The research methodology is based on conducting a survey of first- and second-year students using questionnaires through the students' personal offices and subsequent analysis of the answers to the questions. As part of the survey, a special questionnaire was developed with questions, including closed and open questions. As a result of conducting an online survey among the participants, motivational factors and personal qualities were revealed, which contribute to increasing the effectiveness of non-formal education programs in the field of information and communication technologies. The obtained data indicate interest in non-formal education and the prospects of non-formal education programs to improve the quality of education in the field of information and communication technologies.
